Valentine-Heart-Pizza-Video-Recipe

This Valentine heart pizza recipe video shows you how to shape refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade pizza dough) into a heart shape for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. For this Valentine dinner recipe, you will need: cornmeal for the pan refrigerated pizza dough or homemade pizza dough 1/2 cup tomato sauce 2 cups shredded mozzarella or Italian cheese blend pepperoni Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Sprinkle a little cornmeal on a pizza pan. If you’re using a cookie sheet, spray a little cooking spray on it first, then sprinkle with cornmeal. Form the pizza dough into an oval and sprinkle the top with a little cornmeal. Roll it out with a rolling pin to a large circle. Since the dough will be nice and pliable, you can also use your hands to help stretch it out. Once the dough is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick, you can start to shape it. Use a pizza cutter to cut a heart shape in the dough. Or you could use a knife, but be careful not to scratch your baking sheet. Once you have the basic heart shape, pinch the edges to refine the heart and to give the dough a crust edge. Spread the sauce over the crust, leaving 1/4 inch border around the edges. Top with the shredded cheese. And then place the pepperoni all around the edges to outline the heart. Bake the pizza 12-18 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly. And here’s your Valentine heart pizza.
